On Thursday, the Princess Basma Center for Jordanian Women's Studies at Yarmouk University hosted a training workshop on "Social Accountability and Governance in Municipalities" at the Al-Hosn Cultural Center of Bani Obaid Municipality, under the sponsorship of Bani Obaid Mayor Eng. Jamal Abu Obaid.
The European Union, the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation, and the Al-Hayat Center (RASED) fund this component of the Nazaha project.
A group of employees from the municipality and the surrounding community attended the training session, which covered a number of fundamental ideas of governance and accountability with the goal of enabling municipal workers to play a positive role in this field.
